Horrible customer service! I made a call to 857 368 8031for a simple registration question, the person hung me up three times. I called 857-368-8000, waited for 96 minutes, finally got connected. The rep. transferred me over to her supervisor in hopping for my question to be answered. The supervisor was rude, ignorant, and unprofessional. She interrupted me without letting me finish sentence. After two minutes she said I have been on the phone for ten minutes. I watched my phone and said I just spoke with you for 3 minutes; the next sentence she said I have been on the phone with you for 20 minutes. It is unbelievable a person could make things up so quickly. Next that supervisor said: I am busy couldn't speak with you any longer and she hung me up.
Can't believe MA RMV treat customers like trash.

I had to get my license and had made a payment online and received my license in a timely manner. About a week later I received a horrible notice from the RMV in Boston. It was on a demanding notice, and really just about on the boarder of extortion. Who writes these notices and you people who work at the RMV approved of this demanding and angry letter to be sent to the public? The letter state I had until 12/01/2022 to make the payment or pay a $100 fee, however shortly after I got the E-mail I went back on the RMV website, and it stated in big red letters that the payment was due right after they e-mailed me back that day? I had 5 minute's before they closed at 5 o'clock to get that payment in on time. I have medical problems and this almost just killed me. This was a dirty move and really maybe not legal for them to do this (changing the due date). They tried to get that $100 fee by changing the due date and I only had a few minutes to pay it in time. Nice try and I may still get a lawyer to look into this situation because I am really upset in what they tried to do to me!!

As an agent working insurance in this state for 30 years, I have to say that the RMV is the worst organization in MA. They just dont give a crap. I have clients I try to help and they are rude, unhelpful an downright ignorant to begin with. They must have little to no training as two reps at the same RMV will give you two different answers to the same question. One day you need a form, the next day, you dont need it. They have no clue what they are doing and only follow their own rules when it is to their favor. They bounce things over and over that have gone through at another RMV for years. It is a disgrace how this system is run and it has been for decades. Two years ago they tried to campaign that they were becoming "more user friendly" What a joke.
