Public Negotiation

PeopleClaim public mediations with co-plaintiffs are similar to class actions except they're resolved with the help of our community of conflict resolution professionals.

Public mediations with co-plaintiffs may be resolved globally — one offer to all parties — or individually via party-to-party negotiation with each separate claim.

While the goal is to help you find the shortest distance between a problem and its resolution, unresolved public mediations may be referred for formal legal represenatation and class action.

Suggestions – This one is simple..

Step 1) Calculate how much money you are owed, and for exactly what time periods; and write a simple demand letter to Huddle House's Corporate Office here:

    Huddle House Corporate Office
    5901 Peachtree-Dunwoody, Suite B450
    Atlanta, GA 30328
    Phone: 770.325.1300

I would send a copy of the same letter to the owner of the franchise where you worked in Reidsville (you should be able to look this information up, or obtain it from the Corporate Office). Send both letters via Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested so you have proof they got it. Give them a (reasonable) specified time to respond with payment in the amount you are owed (plus any interest), and tell them you will take legal action if your money is not received by this date.

Step 2) Meanwhile, contact the Department of Labor in Reidsville and file a report. Whether Huddle House pays you or not, they can't legally without your earnings, so you need to report them.
    or-
Step 3) You should also contact the NC Legal Aid office near you to ask about free legal representation, assuming you meet the income guidelines.

    Good Luck!
They can't withhold your last check.
