Claimant says:
"On 9/15/2021, I went to AZ Preferred Surgical Center, located in Abrazo Arriwhead Hospital, for a scheduled hernia surgery. They refused to take my Medicare and wanted $10,000. I was in severa pain so after much discussion, I lost my temper and got up to leave. At that point, I was detained by the Hospital for thretening their staff (I did not). I asked to call the police. They refused and then confiscated my belongings. I was then held in the ER for 3 days where I ws attacked by other patients while the duty nurse watched. I was not allowed to call the care-giver for my pets to let her know I would not be home.  I was held contrary to the law which requires a judge to make the determination that a patient needs to be held in the Psych ward, not ER, following a determination by a psychiatrist. I never saw a psychiatrist or even a doctor. They have billed for services for the ER and for other services they never rendered."

"As a foreigner, I would expect this detention to be a Criminal matter on which I should not advise save to say that litigation easily could subsume the amount claimed but juries are notoriously generous."
