Claimant says:
"I had a break in at my home, I was not home ADT called me at my mothers house to tell me. they ask me if I wanted them to send the police to my house. I said yes. I told them that I could be home in about 10 minutes or less. send the police. I got home in time to caught 3 young punks jumping out of my back window. they had ripped the bars off the house. And one guy was the look out in the yard next door, where the house is empty, no one live in the house. I could have been shot coming home to that. Come to find out ADT never follow through with sending anyone out to my house at all. no one came out I had to call the police myself after I encounter all this my self, And I am paying them money every month for what they did nothing for me or help me at all to caught these guys at all. I had to call the police myself. I then call ADT back and bless they completely out. after I called the Police they came out. After I called ADT back and bless them out, A security officer came to my house at 5:30 in the evening. sorry as they can be. the police could have caught those guys. But ADT never Called the Police this is what they told me. some body did not follow through. this need to be look in to their practices."

  • WHAT? What's the point of an alarm system if the monitoring company doesn't send the police? That's really shocking. We've been considering an alarm system but it sounds as if we should just get remote cameras so we can monitor the house ourselves and call the police when necessary.
