"I PUT MY FAITH IN THIS COMPANY TO MOVE MY VEHICLE FROM ESSEX, IA TO CLERMONT,FL & AFTER 9 DAYS IT HAD NOT BEE N MOVED NOR DID THEY KNOW WHEN IT COULD BE MOVED AT THE QUOTED PRICE OF 600.00. ON THE 9TH DAY THEY SAID THEY COULD MOVE IT FOR 750.00. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY UPSETTING & COST ME ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR PHONES CALLS & ATTORNEY FEES."

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:

    "Customer placed order with us 08/05/11 9:44 am stated that the vehicle is available as of 8/16/11 we ask for a 7 business day pick up window.We are a broker, not an actual carrier. We informed the customer that Essex, IA is a difficult location and that we need a little more time for this load. We did locate a carrier that was interested in picking up their vehicle, however, he asked for $200.00 more. As their broker, we are obligated to present customer with any and all offers. We called the customer to inform them of transport and they refused, witch was fine, they are not obligated to accept. We never charged them our deposit. We searched for a carrier on their order for 3 weeks in Good Faith and did not make a dime. Most broker companies will charge the deposit upfront and are non-refundable. We tried our best to get this moved as quickly as possible at the price quoted, unfortunately, there were no truckers in the area at the time but the one that we located for the additional cost. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call and also, please review our terms and conditions as well. Thank you.
