Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I am a former employee that after 8 years of service was let go because of a alleged fraudulent sales report, a go lead as they are labeled. I was written up for the same infraction multiple times, in the same day, subsequently suspended under review and terminated within a day via certified mail. I believe this was all done in a retaliatory state since I do not conform always to the bad business tactics that are forced upon the RSR's each and every day. Upper management would want us to lie, and overcharge customers and when the customer calls in to complain, the district manager's would blame the RSR's and try to look like the good guys. There is a charge on almost every invoice each week of L/R, or damaged or inventory maintenance, which is a complete scam by the company. These are charges the company wants the RSR's to charge each week on damaged goods returning. The RSR's are supposed to place a PUC (goods count) on each bag, which in turn the plant is supposed to count and go through when the product comes back to be washed. What customers' don't know is that the L/R, damage is a number pulled out of the clouds and made up. The product isn't gone through but is placed on a belt and put in slings to be washed. The RSR puts the number in the handheld, the product is not counted at the plant. If the market center needs higher L/R numbers the damage lines will be more to make up for the number.
Now, getting back to why I don't believe I should have been fired. There are two employees that are still employed that violated the company handbook in a worse offense and still have jobs there. One was involved in a vehicle accident, claimed it was a hit and run and filed a false report, only to find out that he had self-inflicted damaged the truck in the parking lot. Allowed to keep job, with a slap on the wrist. His mother works as the plant manager. Second person has been written up a few times for sexual harassment, twice with customers and once with a plant employee. He was suspended one day for each occasion. It was swept under the rug at the local level because he has good sales numbers. He was kicked out of the two calls that he harassed the young women in. I would not want to return to work at this company, I believe I would not be treated fairly as I was not treated fairly in the last few years. It was noticed that if you have family that works there you are treated differently than if you don't. I would never recommend this company to friends or future companies looking for uniform services."
