Claimant says:
"I called Athens Rv where I purchased the Big Country RV and requested to schedule putting it in the shop for some warranty repairs. I took the RV in on a Wednesday and the following Monday I called to check on the status of the repairs and the service manager Justin informed me that he just started on the repairs. I called back a week later and Justin once again informed me that he was working on my RV and that he would call me the next day and let me know the status of the repairs. I had to call back two days later and was informed that my trailer was not ready. I finally went to Athens RV and checked on my trailer and was told it was not ready and that Justin was waiting on a dryer handle and a dresser drawer handle. I requested my trailer and Justin informed me that the lug nuts he put on my trailer were not the correct ones and that it is not safe to pull. I told Justin that I wanted my trailer and to let me know when the correct lug nuts came in. After three days I called Athens RV and the owner Carlton informed me that he cancelled all the items and if the trailer wheels came off then it would be my fault and if I did not like it to get me a lawyer because he was not going to get the items. THe repairs Athens RV were supposed to complete were on warranty and never completed but were paid by the warranty company as completed . Athens RV has commited fraud to the warranty company that I had to pay extra for on my trailer. I just want my items that Athens RV charged the warranty company for and that are due to me and to put the correct lug nuts back on my trailer and the safe lugnuts back on my trailer that they took off in the first place."

  • Mr McKnney Came in to get his Big Country and talked to Justin the Service Manager about picking it up. Justin told him that we had to order new Lug Nuts and that they would be in the next day and it was unsafe to travel with his RV. He used several profane words towards several of my staff and proceeded to take it anyway. Justin asked him do you still want us to get the Lug Nuts (our policy is if we do not get prepayment or if the Customers RV is not here we do not Special Order Parts) he told Justin do whatever you think you need to do. So Justin cancelled the order. Several days later Mr. McKinney called me Carlton and asked if we had gotten his Lug Nuts in, I told him due to the circumstance we cancelled the order. I told him if he he wanted me to I would reorder them for him or he could get them. I told him that we ordered them from a local Parts Store in town. He asked me to get them, I said sure I will call you when they come in. Then he tells me you know if one of those tires would have came off I would have sued you! I said my staff told told you it was unsafe to pull the RV did they not? He raised his voice and said OK you want to play it this way just get my Lug Nuts and I will get an Attorney! I told him to just get an Attorney! That was the end of the conversation. The only thing that Mr McKinney's Extended Warranty paid for was two hubs for his axles which were installed on his RV. The claim that we recieved money for items that were not installed is false. The Warranty Company denied every claim except the Hubs for the Axles which were installed they do not cover Lug Nuts. In his statement he said all he wanted were the items that the Warranty Company had paid for, he has recieved those items.
