Claimant says:
"I have had this account for couple years. I have never paid late or missed a payment untill I had trouble with my bank and in the fire of things 1 payment got returned and at that point my account was instantly closed. Now I am being taken to collection. I understand that its a debt owed but what I don't understand is why my account was instantly closed. I pay everything via bill pay or though there web sight. I could not fix this payment. They would no longer talk to me or except anything from me. But know they want there money. I feel that is bull crap. I tried to clear this matter up and all I got was closed. I have never been so shut out of a card account in my life. I had a 1200.00 limit that I feel I earned and with one payment being returned by my back poof I'm no longer a customer."

  • Unrelated to your claim, but we just got totally ripped off by Barclays on a wire transfer. These guys should be put out of business. In general I think the government's attacks on many of the money center banks has been unfair and politically motivated, but some of Barclay's practices are outrageous. Don't do business with them and count your fingers if they shake hand with you....
