Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We were shopping for a commerical truck insurance. We spoke with Henry Jackson (agent of Best Buy Insurance) and was told he can get it done for $1300.00 and $820.00 a month. So we came in and immediately he tells us that he needs another $100.00 for the down payment (due to information found on driving record) and monthly payment stayed the same. No problem there, we paid the $1400.00 cash and started a policy effective 7/27/13. In order for the truck to be put to work, a cab card is needed. Henry said it would take 48 hours to get it (it should have taken 20-30 minutes). Ok so we expected to have it that following Wednesday. I called Henry that Monday of the same week to follow up and see if the paperwork had been submitted for the cab card. His answer was no but he will submitted it that day and will call me Tuesday to follow up with me. I called Wednesday, the day the cab card was expected, Henry was not in that day. I asked who else can I speak with and they refered me to Armando. I was informed my Armando that the paperwork had NOT been submitted and had to wait ANOTHER 48 hours for the cab card-Armando had to submit the information instead. We got the cab card on FRIDAY. In the meantime-we could not work the truck or use the insurance coverage we had paid for. We lost several thousands of dollars there. After that, we get a call from Henry stating that the insurace company wants and additional $2961.57 down and that the monthly installment went up to $1050.00 a month. The insurance company couldn't explain why the increase and Henry said is because the insurance company looks at the truck as an 18 wheeler. I informed Henry when I spoke with him that Monday and that Saturday when we bought the policy- Texas DPS is waiting for the insurance information. I also verified with the Insurance company that they recieved the policy information on that Wednesday-this was submitted by Armando. After we were notified of the policy change we cancelled the policy 8/9/13."

  • You had a client by the name of Shawn Blackwell. Armando, you never called Shawn back after your "meeting" with your partners. And you still haven't made good on your promises.

  • Armando and Henry you still have not responded to this claim regarding Shawn Blackwell or the BBB, inspite of the fact that the correct name of the customer has been given to you.

  • to make it clear. i now am requesting 500.00 for every week that you do not respond in addition to $2,505.99 on the origianal offer on this claim. when i tried to settle with you with BBB for 1400.00. you did not respond.
