Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Capella University administratively withdrew me from a PhD program March 2012. I attended Capella since 2008, attaining a 3.8 GPA. In the end, they encouraged me to re-enroll over and over again for three quarters; a year and a half spent for the COMPS Exam phase only,. Thus, they continued exhausting all my students loans funds per quarter, until finally they warned me that the only option I had was to re enroll in a MASTERS degree program or they would have to withdraw me and they did. Through the agonizing process, they showed questionable behavior, such as changing advisors, my mentor, and readers of my exam that didn't seem to have the preparation or degree. I have copies saved of emails that showed inappropriate and discriminating statements; of their errors when providing me feedback, and of their non timely responses to my calls. In all, I am left with a 140,000.00 student loan and no PhD, and over mounting medical bills as in the end I was diagnosed with Hashimoto and Cancer.
This institution must be held accountable; as I recently completed my PhD with a valid and reliable accredited institution in the state of Florida."
