Statement of Claim
"Charles J, O" Sheas Funeral in Wantagh NY are liar's greedy, and take advantge of people at ther darkest times. At Christmas time, my cousin passed away. They promised, they would have the ashes, no later than the evening wake'.
My Aunt and Uncle ( who are wheel chair bound, and one deaf ) flew up to NYC from Florida, in a dreaded storm. At the wake we were told my cousin's ashes would not be here in time for the wake. The Catholic mass, was the next day, They told my heartbroken Aunt and Myself The ashes would be here in time for the late mass.
At the funeral home enroute to the mass, we were told, there would be no ashes, my Aunt and Uncle we totally distraught . ! People came from all over for the mass, and in a storm. So we had a mass with no ashes in Urn (My family is active Catholics ) After the Mass , we were told, the funeral home would bring the ashes to the hotel where my Aunt was staying. That evening I received a phone call, that the ashes were in ! I told then to bring them to my Aunt at their hotel, they stated they dont deliver ashes to hotels! (Liars again) I was told to come get them before 10 pm, it was 9:15 pm when they called (They deny they called me, phone records dont lie !!) My Aunt and Uncle stayed one day longer , to get their son ashes, but the snow storm hit . When i said I would pick them up, they said ashes were still not ready ! My Aunt and Unxle had to pay for hotels ($ 480 each night extra,) i then had to get them on a flight home, with out there son ashes. They had to take a flight to Orlando Fl, then a $600 cab, to there home in Jacksonville FL ( Wheel chair bound people!!)
Then the funeral, had the wrong date of birth, on the mass cards, for my cousin ! and the death certificate was completely wrong  !  I called them every day for two weeks, asking where my cousin ashes were ? they kept lying, they where on the way to my aunt house ( plus noashes , to my cousin brother, daughter ! and ex wife ) my Aunt and Uncle paid for all the Urns.
The funeral home blamed holidays, cold weather, even King day  for excuses. Almost a month after my cousin died, my aunt received her son's ashes, the Urn was broke !!! funeral home took no blame !

If you you Charles O " Shea funeral home, you will have more pain ! they do nothing but lie, steal, and take advantage of very bad situation.

"I think it would be helpful if I had more information regarding the actual costs of the services which were not completed as alleged. Also, it would be helpful in knowing who actually footed the bill. I having recently loss my father in October definitely the emotions when things don't got quite as planed. Is your Aunt able or willing to provide a supporting statement? These are questions in which I have to be able to better provide you with my resolution to this issue."
