Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have 2011 Camry, has transmission problems & clicking in engine when cold. Toyota tells me this is characteristics of vehicle. Transmission shop tells me this is bull. I went on line & saw many conplaints for the same problems with 2011 Toyota Camery. Toyota will no longer address these problems. I'm too far over on the car, are I would get rid of it. Mean time I have to drive a noisy car I hate. I will never buy another Toyota"

  • I've talked to service manager,he says this is still not a problem, no fix just live with it. He did say when trannsmission goes out, they will replace. In the meantime I'm stuck with this sorry car. Sometimes when I talk to them, they mke it sound like I'm a trouble maker. They told me to turn my radio up, so I would not here these noises.

  • They are not going to respond, because their avoiding the problem. I don't think they want to have anything to do with me since the car is out of their hands. They still say their is no problem with car, but trannsmission experts say different. I'm not into dealing with them anymore

  • After researching your complaint, this does seem to be an extremely common issue with this particular make and model. Because dealing with the local dealership hasn’t reached a resolution for you, perhaps writing to the corporate headquarters may help. That way, perhaps an executive in the company can realize that this is an ongoing problem that multiple people are having, and that local dealerships are not doing anything to help their customers. If you can get something from the transmission shop also, that states that it isn’t functioning correctly, it could help your claim. If enough people file a complaint about the same issue, they will have to look into and investigate it.
