  • Dear Scott,
    Delta Case # 23139719

Peopleclaim.com reached out to us on your behalf regarding a ticket you had purchased with us. It must've been frustrating to realize that the ticket had expired prior to you being able to utilize it.

We adhere to the terms and conditions of the fare purchased. All tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue. Your ticket was purchased on March 11, 2016 for travel at the end of May. You canceled your itinerary on May 20, 2016. You had up to reissue your ticket and travel before Mar 11, 2017 or forfeit the value of the ticket. While you booked through a travel agency, this information should have been conveyed by them when they provided your ticket, fare and itinerary to you. Respectfully, we can't extend an expired ticket. Therefore, I must decline your request to be able to use the ticket and incur the above expenses noted of $27.97. We do not show any mishandling on our part regarding your ticket.

Please know I'll share your comments with our Leadership team regarding your disappointment with the terms of the non-refundable ticket. We're always looking for ways we can improve our services.

Scott, we value your business. While I wasn't able to honor your request, I hope we will have another opportunity to welcome you aboard in the future.

    Regards,
    Gina Rubino
