"Advanced Periodontics (AP) attempted to charge me for a reattached, front, tooth, crown of (3/25/19), which fell out the same night, of which, I reported what had transpired to the AP office, also on the same night. Dr. Richard Negat (RN) was confronted with this issue. His office manager, Judy Tran(JT), then followed up with a letter containing seriously, false statements. Specifically, and most revoltingly, JN, wrote and I quote, "He never expressed any upset nor called us." What?!!! I CALLED THE SAME NIGHT! My rebuttal directed to CareCredit (the lending company) which resulted in the dismissal of the fee. Understandably, I was reluctant to return to AP, and did so only under the condition that the next implant would be priced the same as that of the previous implant, ($4800.00 in 2015), to which, Dr. Richard Nejat(RN) agreed. Trusting him, I did not immediately, check what I was being charged for the new 2019 implant - when I finally did, shockingly, it had surged to an incredibly, unscrupulous - $7175.00!!! Confronting RN with the horrific, hike in price, he directed me to his billing personnel, who, in an attempt to disguise the abrupt jump, told me, that I had paid more than $6000.00 for my last implant. Having obtained definitive proof from CareCredit (attached) that the fee charged for the 2015 implant was, in fact, as stated $4800.00, I, again, confronted the AV office. Their counter was, instead of the $2375.00, they would agree to subtract $750.00 for the inflationary increase of food, transportation, lab fees - a greater than 33% increase!!! I, challenge AP to justify a $1600.00 inflationary charge for the services rendered.
