Mr. Leamon Land:
I brought my car, a Mercedes CLK 320, to you Friday, January 3rd to install four 18” tires and wheels. I paid $500.00 for parts and labor. Since you worked on my vehicle it has not been driving well and makes funny noises and one of the hub cap fell off and is missing.
Before I came to your shop on Friday, the car made no noises and drove fine. By Monday, the car was not drivable and the front left wheel was on the verge of falling off. We consulted other car repair specialists and they said bearings gradually go bad and make noise and it is impossible for your car to not be drivable 3 days after it drove without problems or noise. The instant and unnatural damage to my Mercedes could only be the repercussions of faulty installation.
I also called the Mercedes dealership which said it will cost $90 to tow the car, $125 for a diagnostic test plus parts and labor. I am requesting that you pay Top Line Tires to repair my vehicle. I am a college student and this Is my only form of transportation to school and work. I have difficulty going to classes and meeting my obligations.
I explained all of this to you over the phone and you said you will call me back to make arrangements. You have not called me back and have since not taken my calls. I have called several times since to no avail. I will be reporting the matter to the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta and the Attorney General of Georgia. I will begin legal action if I do not hear from you immediately. You will then be responsible not only for my vehicle but loss of income and tuition if I am dropped from my classes.
