Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"These people came across as helpful, calling me "hon", etc. The people I dealt with seemed very nice at the start. The problem came when I received a call in regards to "advertising". It was explained to me that it would cost $3,000 - $10,000 for advertising. They said I could pay $5,000 now & the balance in 6 months. (I took notes every inch of the way during the phone call.) I said no, I can't afford it. I then sent an email & a letter through the US mail. Since then they will not even talk to me. I have left numerous short voice message asking them to call me. I have also sent 2 emails & they do not respond. They owe me $279 for invoice #498."

  • 01-05-2011 — Received phone call from Joe Allen (602-266-9146). He told me about the internet business -called me "hon" & explained the cost. ($528) He also said the monthly hosting fee of $19.95 would be waved and there was a 30 100% money back guarantee. 1-6-11 invoice #498 was mailed to me with a one page letter and a CD. 1-9-11 I emailed a cancellation, asking for cedit. 1-10-11 I called to tell them I was cancelling. Joe Allen put his Dept. Mgr, James Taylor (888-224-8174) on the line. He said they have special rates for people on fixed incomes. He issued a credit of $249 as we spoke. (I confirmed with my credit card company.) James Taylor talked me into taking a second look at it and offered a 60 day money back guantee. I said I would take a 2nd look at it. 1-11-11 I received a call from Customer Service (602-266-9471). They said they would send out another CD & revised invoice for $279.00 1-13-11 I received a call from "Krista" explaining the web sites. Amazon.com, IAN.com(Expedia) & Goggle Adsense. 1-18-11 I received a call from Bob Green (888-497-3122). He went through the advertising costs. There were 3 options: "Starter" for $3,000; "Advance" for $3,730; and "Executive" for $10,000. I said no, I can't afford it. 1-19-11 I returned the CD's (2) via registered mail. 1-24-11 delivery confirmation was received. Someone named "Pearl" signed for the package I returned.
