"I purchase a mattress from Farmers Furniture in Lumberton North Carolina, and after one month the mattress has collapsed in the middle.  I was not told by the sales person that If I did not buy the bed or the box spring that the bed would not warranted, and If so I would not have brought the mattress.  The mattress was put on a NEW platform bed that does not require a box spring.  The mattress was supposed to be a firm mattress but felt nothing like the one inside the store. "

    Claimant should have read the fine print on the warranty. Store should have made sure the paperwork was understood. Prob easier for store to exchange mattress than deal with this and bad publicity.

  • To Farmer's Furniture:  Was the mattress you sold to the claimant the same make and model (i.e., exact same quality) as the one on display in your showroom?  He says the one delivered felt much less firm.

  • Our position remains are previously posted.  We have offered a 50% off discount but that is all we are able to offer being customer didn't purchase the set, only the mattress which voids all manufactory warranties.
