Claimant says:
"Gold crest properties was contracted to removed old tiles and install new with grout and all finishing work including installing baseboards. He also was contracted to paint the first floor of the house. The contract was for 5,000 for labor on the floors and 1,200.00 for the painting. Materials were 3,000 for floors and $250.00 for paint. The competition day was two weeks and paid when job was completed. He asked me to pay him once was one day to complete this was two weeks after starting and then it took him an additional two more weeks and he left the job without finishing. I tried to ask him to come and finish the job but he said no. He was frustrated because the grout was white and he dint know how to corrected. He told me it was dust and I paid a company to professionally clean the house cost me $500.00 plus a company to clean the coils of A?C cost me another $500.00. The house had no dust. Then he told me grout was defected and to go and claim to the store. I did to find out he mix the grout wrong and it was a way to correct the color but he decided to paint the grout and now is ruined. The tiles are all uneven and pretty much the entire work needs to be done all over again. The paint job was not completed in full either he forgot to pain the laundry and pantry. He left the job unfinished an my garage and porch full of cement and tiles. I also need to pay a company to dump all this off. I feel I am entitled to all my money so I can pay a company to do my tiles all over again. Fixing the grout and removing half of the house that was done wrong would cost around the same. I have enough proof in communications in witting and a contract and returned checks. I have some safety issues with the uneven tiles as you can trip and fall. I have an elderly person at home and this is dangerous."
