Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Went to dealership to get a car for my niece. We found car we liked 2013 Nissan altima. We talked in office and told him she should get her license next week and that I was going to be her CO-SIGNER this was on March 29th, We talked some more and she asked him if he would hold the car until she found out about her license. Brandon said he could do that. She gave him $500 to hold it. The next day he called said he had another car for us to look at which was a 2015 Nissan Altima. I didn't test drive neither car just rode in back seat. We again talked and specifically told him again that I was to be CO-SIGNER and car was to held until she knew for sure she would get her license. Yes he agreed He was in and out of room came back and said he had us a good interest rate. But he had me as buyer i told him co-signer he said dont worry this is how we do it she will get credit. I trusted him and did sign papers he said we could not get the 2013 that we wanted because payments would be to high. I did sign papers.for a car 2015 (Which I thought ) two days later he asked me to come in and resign papers he got us a better interest rate i did go in and sign. This was Friday April 1st. all of a sudden he said he could not keep car and it would have to be off lot the same day. Later that day he call for me to come and get car told him i couldnt he brought it to me to my house handed me $5 and keys said will help niece to get her license and left. I called my niece she said she called them and told them that she couldn't get her license until feb. 2017. So I got in car to take back they said I signed papers they couldn't take car back. Keep telling us they would help her get her license We told them that we didn't want car it was al base on her license that I didn't need a car because I just leased one and that they lied about her getting credit, For over a week we tried to solve this issue that they lied about keeping car about her getting credit and falsely had me believe she would get credit and waiting to make sure she had her license. Then I had someone to look at both contract that I signed. To see what was different in contracts. The first contract I signed was for the 2013 and the second contract I signed was for the 2015 there was only a difference of maybe one dollar they lied to us about this which was the car we wanted but had me sign two days later for the 2015 switching contracts. Also I found in glove compartment I found a auto check paper which stated it was a rental car this I never knew he never told us which was another lie We had been lie to through this whole deal. I would have not bought this car for myself because I just leased me car in October of last year. I have contracts but dont know how to send them they are long papers and cant attach them if I can get a fax # I can fax them to you ."

  • This deal was base on my niece getting her license. Brandon verbally agreed. I did tell the lady susan this was only if she got her license. She said I understand They are saying I signed contract true I signed for the 2013 altima first they had me come in two days later to sign for the 2015 altima If a contract is a contract I should of received the 2013 There was no difference on the contract everything was the same. I guess word of mouth does not hold today in this world. I stand by what I said and the agreements with Brandon That he had made to us. Yes I was happy because Brandon was going to hold car and paperwork work until we were sure about license. But all was a lie. Remorse I dont have any except dealing with people that don't stand by there word.

  • There responds is all lies to make them sound good--- I have been saying what they said--- My niece and I visited dealership on 3/25/16 wanting a car for my niece who was to get her DL which is what you said and I said for my NIECE and NOT ME. I signed papers on what you told me she would get credit--Interest rate and price of car was same on both contracts-- I signed paper work on 2013 altima on 3/30/16 two days later 4/1/16 you asked me to come in resign paper work for better interest rate I did. You said contract is contract when signed. Then if so I should of received the 2013 altima instead of the 2015. I signed all paper work based on Brandon words-- They would hold everything until was sure my niece would get license and that she would get credit for paying for car which after the fact was all lies. Which I see now was all lies and directing us on the wrong path word of mouth and trust from Brandon was all a deception to my niece and I. Brandon also said he would work with us if she didn't get her DL. Driving car to my house was not a courtesy it was entrapment. All they saw was a commission check which was the end of the month. They say once contract is signed it is legal. So if that is true then I should of received the 2013 altima and not the 2015. So who is lying
