The only thing I see the claimant asking for is their child's demo video via email or flash drive. Since it appears that the claimant paid for it and the work was done, I'm at a loss to know why this claim wasn't resolved a long time ago.
The company seems to be creating a lot of Sturm und Drang about absolutely nothing. The customer is dissatisfied and said so: every business has dissatisfied customers - it's part of being in business. Also, not everyone has the same programs on their computers. People send me stuff I can't open all the time.
As a consumer, what I'd expect to see is a response like this: We are very sorry that you weren't happy with our services and wish you and your daughter the very best moving forward. We have sent the video via XYZ format. Please let us know if it doesn't work.
HSMC will do everything they can to resolve any complaints by our clients. The relationships with their clients is taken very seriously. HSMC has will always maintain a high level of costumer satisfaction. Unfortunately, we can NOT make everyone happy as such in this case. It's bizarre for this company not to respond to anything so simple, unless there's something the claimant isn't telling us.
Unfortunately the modeling/acting business is rife with scams, people desperately trying to make it on a wing and a prayer as coaches and teachers, and companies that flagrantly milk their clients.
I have no personal knowledge of this particular company, although I briefly investigated the business when one kid was talking about getting into it and concluded that most of the agencies weren't particularly beneficial. (Thank goodness she pursued science instead.)
Looks to me like this claimant has paid out $2,600 total to Jack Stockton, Hollywood Studios Media Center, and should get what was paid for, namely, the video, in an accessible format. Good lord. How much does a blank DVD cost? A penny or two?
First of all HSMC and Jack Stockton works with many families and kids around our great community for 16 years. Of course there will disgruntled clients. It is obvious by the disrespect this client has expressed that it is an unfair claim that has no merit. Hundreds of clients received the same demo in the same format that have helped them move on to be very successful. I am appalled and embarrassed for you Mr. J.P. to think you are professional is an over statement to say the least. Here you sit behind you keyboard with no evidence or truth behind your cowardly comments. HSMC has always maintained a high level of costumer service and has offered many options to this particular client. I will ask you cease your negative comments as this is your written request to do so. Any other actions legally will be taken by the appropriate party.
