  • Write your meOur policyholder purchased a travel insurance policy for which she paid $314 in premium. Sometime before her scheduled trip she became ill and cancelled her trip. It appears that the cost of her trip was reimbursed to her by travel agent or other carriers. She is seeking reimbursement of the premium of policy which is not returnable. We are writing a letter of explanation to her today.

  • All of my trip was not refunded. The air fare was not and now the travel insurance has not been refunded. I never used it so it should be refunded to me. Vicki Granros

  • I am still working on this. Sent an online letter to the MN Dept of Commerce. Waiting for reply. Don't think it will do much good as the company is in FL and I would have to bring them up here for conciliation court and that would cost me more than the claim amt of $314. Thanks for all your info and input. Sincerely, Vicki Granros
