Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I took my car to them on 07-07-12 because it was running hot, I also purchased the vehicle from them as well. They flushed out the radiator and added antifreeze. The car continued to run hot so on 07-09-12 I took my car back to J & F Auto Sales they then replaced the radiator fan switch, the car still ran hot. So on 07-18-12 my parents dropped my car off again to them because I had to work and could not take off. J & F (Javier) informed me that the radiator was not good, told me that the cost would be $260 I agreed. Then on Friday they informed me that it was not the radiator they put a new one in there and it still ran hot, mind you they had already flushed the radiataor previously. They informed me that it was the transmission. Javier the manager left a message on my phone 07-20-12 informing me of the two different transmissions options, never saying that they put a new put a different radiator in we only discussed a transmission. By the time I checked the message they were closed. I got up on 07-21-12 @ 8am and called Javier he informed me that the total cost would be $1495.00. They called me on 07-24-12 to let me know that my vehicle was ready. When I got to the shop he had to seperate receipts one for $1495.00 and the other for $260.00 I told him that he informed me on 07-20-12 that the total cost would be $14995.00 I then asked for the owners name and number he would not give it to me the owners son was there and would not give me the information either. I then called my fiance which Javier had been talking to him through the whole process Javier would not talk to him at all. I then left my car there, and it is still there. Something needs to be done about that I should be able to know the name and number of the owner of the establishment."
