Claimant says:
"Bought a D-140 lawn tractor in 2012, after only 49 hours began having flat tires, thought I'd run over something but problem was good rubber put on top of rotted sidewalls. I went to Lowes where I bought it, they told me to go to Valley Ag and Turf where they bought it; I sent two e mails without any result. I then typed letters to them plus another to the factory. Valley Ag and Turf still didn't reply, John Deere told me to go to Lowes with the problem. Still isn't resolved since last spring. This machine cost $2000.00 that took two years to save for, I'm 72 and handicapped with a tractor and four flat tires. I made a complete circle with these people and still no answers."

  • After I had no response from Valley Ag and Turf I went to the Lowes store to look at the other lawn tractors on display; all the tires had tire black added to the sidewalls to hide the defective tires.

  • Finally had to break down and buy the two rear tires since I couldn't keep air in them; $138.oo Thanks again John Deere.
