Claimant says:
"Watched ad on TV for Metro Vein surgery. According to the ad you have the procedure done then your out "playing tennis' with shorts on. All ads use a staff member to pose as a patient and these staff members all have smiles on their faces and when finished they get up from table with smiles and go play tennis.

Well that is not what happened to me. I went in for initial consultation and was told that I was a candidate for the procedure. Was explained that it would take approx. 8 procedures. I signed necessary forms and we started that day. It took about 2 weeks to have procedure completed. I ask why the vein that she killed was so hard and tender to the touch she told me that that was normal and my body would eat away the dead vein. She injected acid into the lower part of my legs which hurt like pure hell. Having acid injected into your veins is something I would never want to experience again.

After 6 weeks my legs have become worse. They are swollen, I can't bend or squat with out pain. Walking a flight of stores requires so much effort and hurts me extremely badly. My legs are still bruised and unsightly. I would not dare wear a pair of shorts.

I made an apt to discuss my disaffection with the procedure. Dr. States that she told me it could take 6 months to a year for my legs to heal. I told her that she did not tell me. She also stated that I was to wear the compression hose until legs healed. Again I told her no you only told me to wear the hose for three days after the procedures.

My legs look so horrible and the pain is so bad. Had I had known that it would have been like this I would never had the procedures done.

I feel that the dr. has ruined my legs.

It's too late to go back but for anyone who is looking into having this procedure performed think twice. Get all the fact up front."
