Claimant says:
"I bought a 1999 Cadillac Deville from them and while I was driving it home on Interstate 5 about 20 miles from where I had bought it, the engine overheated. I have come to learn that the previous owners sold it due to a blown head gasket. I called Mr John Cooper who is the owner Of New Creation Auto Sales and also whom I bought it from and he maintains that he sold it 'As is' and he further stated in his ad that 'The engine is in perfect working condition' When I complained about the overheating engine he stated that he had driven it from Auburn to Everett without any problems. I find this incredulous, because I took my friend for a drive in it next day and as soon as we got to the 19-20 mile range it overheated. I installed a brand new radiator, water pump, thermostat, radiator cap and lower hose before I learned that it was indeed a blown head gasket.
I would like to have Mr Cooper take the car back and refund me the $2432. I will eat the cost of the parts.
I had my attorney write Mr Cooper a letter on September 5 with a response date by September 19 and I have heard nothing back."
