Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have had an alarm contract with North Central for about 8 years. The monitoring was done by Monitronics. When German Caudilolo came to me on May 26, 2016 he told me that I would save a lot of money if I renewed my contract with another company and paid for 3 years up front. He told me that I would get free service calls. Based on his statements I signed a contract with North Central and they transfered monitoring of my alarm to a new company. Shortly afterward I found out that I still had 5 months left on my contract with Monitronics.. I have had to pay $41 a month to Monitronics for 5 months at the same time I am paying $40 a month to the new company. I called German to tell him about the problem and he said I would save money in the long run because I would get 5 years of monitoring for the price of 3. When my son reviewed my contract though it is only for 3 years & and service calls are not free. Based on the contract I am not saving any money and also have to pay 2 companies for 5 months. My son spent several weeks trying to contact German, even going to the address listed in the contract. When my son finally got a hold of German 2 months ago he said that he would send a new contract for 5 years and free service calls, but he has not done so yet.

If I do in fact get 5 years of monitoring I will save money, but at this point there is no indication that will happen. I will withdraw my complaint if I receive a new contract."
