Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On August 25, 2014, I ordered two products via face book, (1) Revita Eye - $5.95 and (2) Beau Derma - $4.95. On 29 September 2014, I received my Master Card Account Activity Transaction Statement which reflected the charges as shown for the two products. During the ordering process I was advised that I had 14 days from the date of action to cancel my subscription if I were not satisfied. I received the products on or about August 29, 2014, and on September 8th, 2014, I sent communications to their agency requesting cancellation as previously instructed. I received confirmation from their agency of the cancellation. I complied with every requirement of the contract; however, on my Account Activity Transaction statement there two additional transactions, (1) One*Revita Eye - $85.95 - Telephone # 888-206-0628 CA, and (2) Bdm*Beauderma - $89.95 - Telephone #888-510-9185 CA. Upon receipt of my account activity transaction statement, I immediately called the above two telephone numbers and I did talk with representatives of their agency. As I strongly questioned their actions, I received excuses galore and a lot of mumbo jumbo. I requested to talk with their supervisor but to no avail. When I indicated I wanted to talk to the CEO of the company, they immediately indicated that they would give me a 50 percent refund of $85.95 and $89.95. There are no valid reasons for these charges. I have no problems paying the $5.95 and $4.95. That is all that I owe. The service representatives were not honest and upfront. One service representative stated that I was dealing with 2 different companies; however, the address for Revita Eye and Beau Derma is 3760 W McFadden Ave, Suite B 602, Santa Ana, CA 92704-1392."

  • The company that sells Beau Derma and ReVitaEye needs to overhaul their business tactics, and try being up front and honest about what they expect of the customer, and how much their product costs.
