Screen shots of emails from Mark Ward, showing he is unstable, and apologizes multiple times about his threats and having stress. This show that Mark Ward is simply trying to threaten and take advantage by making false claims about the services he received.

I want to add that 99% of my clients are very good people. Mark also portrayed himself as a good person when we spoke over the phone multiple times. This is a rare circumstance where In my opinion, Mark may have had this intention from the beginning, and simply wanted my services and time for free.

Rejected
Respondent has rejected claimant's terms. This claim will remain posted until mutually
acceptable terms are agreed to.
The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
- I disagree with the explanation / grounds provided
"Mark Ward purchased consulting services from my company. Mark Ward received the services he paid for, and is now trying to threaten me by making false claims and posts, so he can receive my services for free. Mark Ward threatened to post false information over the Internet, take me to court, also threatened to file a lawsuit through his attorney. I asked Mark to have his attorney contact me, but no contact at all. I have attached screen shots of conversations from email communication with Mark, where emails show he is an unstable person. Mark admits to be stressed out and apologizes multiple times, about his harshness, and his behavior. Mark was provided a refund request form, as I provide everyone a 30 day money back guarantee, where I guarantee that the marketing that I teach, works to get a 4% or higher response rate. Mark did not fill out the refund request form, because he knows that he does not qualify for the refund per our agreement. Mark also signed an agreement, stating that he understands what he paid for, and that he would take personal responsibility. I request that this claim be closed, as Mark shows that he is not stable, and has apologized multiple times, via emails sent to me. "

Pete's Marketing should add details of services rendered for evaluation. Otherwise, Small Claims may be appropriate
More... Vote for thisAfter reading the complaint and the emails (which seem pretty normal to me, apparently coming from someone who's spent rather a lot of money and is very worried about it) I googled Pete's Marketing. This is what I found "Pete Vlahos. BUSINESS COACH My Direct Line- 847-630-8889. Contact Me RIGHT NOW And I Will Show You How To Make $15K In Less Than 30 Days!" That rings a huge number of alarm bells for me.
I suggest that Mr. Vlahos adds some information about the type of business coaching he does. The whole postcard/video thing and promises of riches does sound a lot like a pyramid scheme, so perhaps Mr Vlahos could allay those fears. I really can't tell what he's selling. Whenever I can't tell what someone's selling, I am not impressed.
Apart from that, I would have to agree with the previous suggestion about Small Claims as $3500 is likely within the limits. Again, when I looked online, it is hard to tell whether Mr Vlahos' business is in Arizona or Illinois - in the interests of transparency, perhaps Mr Vlahos could clarify the correct address for Small Claims filing.
A better solution would be a reasonable agreement between the two parties, say, $2000 refund to the claimant.
