Claimant says:
"Purchase of Regency Travel Club and paid $6101 + 399.00 Membership fee = $6500.00.
We found that this Travel Club is the same Club as Vacation Breeze Travel Club. After telling Regency that they were the same, regency denied the fact that they were the same.
We feel (My wife and I) that we are due a refund knowing that Regency was fraudulently sold to us.
Regency Travel Club contact is Larry Muskgrove at 865 428-6039 #11. Nelly Thomas is #14 at same phone number.

Respondent's Counteroffer Hide
The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:

  • "The Colemans purchased from a company known as Tree Topps real Estate on 9/13/16, over one year ago. They did not purchase from Regency Travel Club or RSI. We have no contract with them.

    At the time of their purchase, Regency was using a different servicing platform that it utilizes now. Any representations to the effect that we are unlike another company were, in fact, true.

    It defies logic how and why the Colemans would have been interested in owning 2 travel club products. it is virtually unheard of. The fact that they hesitated and even considered that possibility would make anyone wonder why they proceeded in the first place.

    Lastly, we are now hearing about this over a year after the purchase. The Colemans had 3 business days to cancel under the sales paperwork and they did not avail themselves of that option."
