Claimant says:
"In November of 2011 I contacted Taxmasters to seek help in resolving an issue with the IRS. It was stated the fee would be $1400 but that it was needed up front. I very foolishly gave my credit card and other financial information.
The following day, after consulting with my wife we decided not to go ahead as we could not afford it and I called them and wrote to cancel the transaction as I was within the three day grace period. I requested a refund and was informed by email stating that it may take some time to do that. However, it has now been three months since any contact has been received despite several attempts on my part to determine when I could expect a refund.
I am a retired person on a fixed income and I can ill afford to simpy write off $1400. I do not think that Taxmasters has displayed good business practice or customer relations and so I am once agin requesting a refund of my money to avoid my taking any further action.
