  • The repairs on the truck were never completed correctly. I voiced my concern immediately after picking up and driving the vehicle from the shop for the first time on the day after it was supposed to be repaired. It was evident right away that the repair was not done correctly. Although, the vehicle ran, it was far from repaired. My concerns about the vehicle were repeatedly ignored and met with complete indifferance and unconcern. My phone calls started to become unreturned and I was forced to continue driving the truck, as I had no other means of transportation. The vehicle eventually stopped running all together. I had already paid $ 2,289.72. Welch's refused to honor their work or even fix the truck. It sat in the shop untouched for weeks. I had it towed to another mechanic . He agreed that the prior work had been done right and some work had not been done at all. I was also over charged. I want refunded in full.

It was very noticeable to me that the repair was not done correctly. Although, the vehicle ran, it was far from repaired. My concerns which I made that same day, were repeatedly ignored met with indifferance and unconcern. My phone calls went unreturned and I was forced to continue driving the vehicle, as I had no other means of transportation. The vehicle eventually stopped running all together. It was destined to fail eventally because the timing was never done correctly. I had already paid $2,289.72 for a repair that was never done right! I had it towed to Welch's. I had not got the service I had originally paid for! The truck sat at Welch's where nothing was done on it. Their refusal to work on it and make it right left me no choice but to have it towed to another mechanic. The mechanic at the new place agreed that the prior work was done incorrectly and the proper steps were not taken. I feel I was overcharged for work that was not done right and some that was not done at all!

  • I disagree with the explanation / grounds provided

    "the vehicle was in service for 6 months after the repair . which the manufacturer only gives 90 warranty on the parts. and we tried to get them to warranty the parts we tried to work with the customer and solve the issue with the vehicle even though it was out of warranty the customer wanted us to do the job again for free. even though the vehicle had other issues with the vehicle. we feel we did the service correctly because he drove for 6 months without issues."
