Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Ordered Panasonic TV on December 10, 2012. Their shipping policy guarantees receipt of TV in 2 weeks. On January 2, 2013, I contacted them on the status of my order. They said they were having problems and could not provide a date when the TV would be shipped. On January 3, 2013 they offered a full refund and I accepted that offer on the 4th. I was told the refund check was in the mail on January 14, again on January 19, again on January 31, and again on February 4, 2013.. On February 10, I was told that the check was lost and to provide information so they could wire me the refund. I did provide that info. I have emailed them several times since and they have not responded to any of them."

  • Great news. After 9 months I finally got a refund from WWE. If you have filed a complaint with the Washington Attorney General, contact Chad Crummer in that office. He did an outstanding job, getting my refund. Also, get the correct routing number from your bank. Roman said not to use the one on your check and the second time I called my bank and questioned them about it, they gave me a routing number for incoming wires. I might have gotten a refund faster if I had the right number to begin with. According to Chad, Roman is trying to pay everyone back. He has made other refunds besides mine, and has borrowed money from his father and uncle in Russia. Good luck to everyone.

  • I like Sarah Baxa suggestion about contacting Panasonic but disagree with her comments about their BBB rating. I just checked and it is a big F. It further states that the F rating is based on:
Length of time business has been operating.
    56 complaints filed against business
Failure to respond to 33 complaints filed against business.
6 complaints filed against business that were not resolved.
6 serious complaints filed against business.

On March 22, 2013, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery issues. Consumers allege when they place an order with Worldwide Electronics LLC, they are told their product will be delivered within seven to 14 business days. Consumers claim the company accepts payment only via check or wire transfer. Consumers allege their product never arrives, and the company does not respond or provides a delayed response to requests for assistance.

I suggest filing a complaint with both the Washington State Attorney General (1-800-551-4636) and the FBI (https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx). If they get enough complaints they act against this fraud Roman Ogourtsov and pursue racketeering charges

  • I viewed the BBB website and there have been 8 complaints in the last year, all related to delivery issues. This business is not BBB accredited and has other aliases: BuyTVToday.com, ShopBestTV.com. Here is a website that mentions WorldWide Electronics: http://buytvtoday.com/AboutUs.aspx From their website, they say they are an authorized dealer. The following link from Panasonic discusses why you should purchase from an authorized dealer: http://www.panasonic.com/about/authorized-retailers.asp You may consider contacting Panasonic regarding your experience. Panasonic is a large company who wants to make sure that their dealers are not creating a bad experience for customers and giving customers a negative view of their products. Perhaps someone at Panasonic can help you with this issue.
