I am the General Manager of a storage facility in Florida. This morning when I got to work Allied Van Lines was moving a recent customer of ours. I made them a special code for the elevators to help speed up the process for them. But I noticed they were occupying both elevators and slowly uploading items into them. I asked the person in charge of the crew to please not "hug" the elevators as a courtesy to the other customers and the first thing out of his mouth was "go and bother someone else". I tried to explain to him that he had to respect the rules of this property and he continued to say one disrespectful comment after another. In the end I told him I was going to contact his company and that did not even concerned him. He pretty much did not care what I said and did not want to respect our property rules. He continued to say disrespectful comments such as "why don't you just shut-up and take care of your customers, and let me do my job." I ended up the conversation by letting him know that he was out of line.
In the future, I will tell every single customer I have access to, to never use this moving company. I will also tell every customer that is going to use a moving company, that Allied Van Lines are prohibited from coming to this facility. So, they will have to find another company. We have also trashed all the cards that were given to us to refer Allied. We no longer will refer them for moving. And lastly, We will place a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for having disrespectful, intransigent, uncooperative, rebellious, subversive, and defiant of other people's rules, employees.

Belongings were packed on 12/11/17 with a contracted delivery date of 12/20-12/29/17. As of 1/3/18, no delivery, no status updates. Customer service reps refuse to return phone calls and cannot confirm if the belongings have even been loaded for delivery. It's bad enough that the delivery window was missed, but to have a complete absence of communication is completely unacceptable. We cannot get a manager on the phone, we cannot get any information as to when the items will be delivered. Family members have taken time off from work to meet the delivery and have been unable to schedule their return flights until we have ANY information about the delivery. This company is completely irresponsible and we have reported to the Better Business Bureau and the IN Attorney General. Never again!!

Movers beware!! Initially Dennis came out to give us a quote to pack and move out house. We have large TVs and kept the original boxes which he was happy about so his guys wouldn’t have to bring them. The day of packaging arrived, the packers were late and it took them 11 hours to pack he kitchen and bedrooms in a 2,100 sq.ft. house. They also stated that they couldn’t pack the TVs because they weren’t paid to do them, Dennis couldn’t be reached and never returned our calls. Furthermore the house was never completely packed, bathroom drawers, closets & basement office all left as is.
The day of the move came and they showed up with a box truck… I explicitly explained to Dennis that our move from Colorado 6 months prior required a semi. The movers took even longer than the packers and couldn’t fit everything into the truck. They removed mattresses from boxes and tried cramming them into the truck while standing on our 75” TV. My wife was there while I was preparing our new house and the movers all but ignored her concerns stating that their manager demanded they “make it fit”. 24 hours went by and no resolution on receiving our things so I contacted and attorney. Leonard from Apollo said that Alan from Allied was responsible and of course Alan said it was up to Leonard. Back and forth over dozens of phone calls and they will try to schedule another truck and team to the house to finish using a garage door code to get in and charge us an additional 10%. They still haven’t packed the items remaining in the house so we’ll need to do it.
Moving is stressful for anyone and you deserve professionalism for the money you spend. Sadly, Apollo Moving (agent for Allied Van Lines DOT# 076235) are not the folks to deliver this service to you.

Now I know that A wasn't given to Allied after reading all these bad reviews?! It should be an F-! Like everyone else who had the misfortune to use this company, I have a horror story to share too. We had antique furniture and clocks that were damaged, mostly due to negligence in packaging these items. Had I known that $16,000 wasn't going to actually pay for real professional movers then i would have paid the extra $4K and hired Mayflower!! Please, please, don't hire these thieves. We got $70 back for damaged items that are truly priceless! But what we want is someone (they claim they have "experts") to REPAIR the damages! Worst company to deal with when items are damaged or stolen!

Claimant says:A set of caned valuable chairs worth $4500.000 were damaged upon delivery to our home. I also purchased Replacement Value insurance for $50,000.
It will cost $1000.00 to have them repaired. Allied Van Lines sent out a repairman to fix my velvet chaise that had a grease spot and his comment made about our 10 ft ladder was that ladders always turn...
