Catherine D. says: I have been to the ER five times in the last month for the same ongoing issue. One doctor never even came into my room to talk to me, another basically told me I was wasting the ER doctors time, another was even an emergency medicine physician (not sure what she was), I was never told what tests were being run with my bloodwork or what the results of these tests were. I was discharged once when my symptoms were very bad and when I asked wait what about my legs, why are they shaking so bad. The doctor shrugged her shoulders and said well I really don't know why. I was referred to a hospital neurologist, and when I went to my appointment the first thing out of the neurologists mouth was I trying to understand why you were referred to me. He wasn't interested in the symptom journal I had been keeping. He didn't talk to me about anything except for fun times he had in medical school. It was a total waste of my time and money.
