Anne N. says: We paid 18,000.00 dollars for our membership in CachetPartners Group Inc. They said they would give back 5% of our grocery bill each year (we haven't received) and submitted the bills. We wanted to consolidate our debt as my husband was sick with cancer and did not work for 4 years. They charged $1,500. for lawyer fee, and billed us twice for assessment fee as they changed who they were going to remortgage with. We did not want to remortgage just a loan to pay one payment a month to get rid of the debt incurred while he had cancer and no income for 4 years. We booked a flight to Scotland with them and they charged us booking fees like a regular travel agency! We finally got that money back. But they are not sending the 5% rebate for grocery's. I was and still am disabled and they knew that, they say on our card the valid date was Nov. 2014 and would carry for 25 years to 2039. I am querying the year as my husband had just got out of hospital the end of September 2014 and was in no condition to travel to Vaughan, Richmond Hill in Nov. 2014. I would like if what I am reading here is all true to obtain a lawyer and sue them for the 18,000 dollars they took from us and gave us nothing in return that they did not charge for. in 2018 we sold our home and purchased a new one the legal fee for this was only $800.00. Yet they charged $1,500.00 for amalgamation of bills and included our mortgage in it which we did not want. Is anyone else interested in suing them for a refund or are my husband and I the only ones that got taken for such a large amount, the only ones that got soaked for $18,000. to join this exclusive group with great financial planing, all inclusive vacations, bookings of airfare etc.. We cannot claim in small claims court as the amount they scammed us for is way to high, plus what was suppose to be included in the $18,000. was charged over and above. Moira L. says: They do not live up to their agreements. They lie, they ignore, they bounce checks. I have a an enforcement order against them from Ontario Small Claims court and it appears they still think they are above the law. They take advantage of peoples desire to save money and they end up taking your money for no value in return. Do not get sucked into their promises and their friendliness. They are not on your side, They owe us over 5000.00and we did not receive one item or service. We cancelled the agreement in under 24 hours of signing once we were away from the high pressure sales pitch, and oh ya, once we were allowed to turn on ur internet and check them out. I just wanted the chance to win a prize (which we never received) and then got suckered into the idea that maybe we could save money because naively I trust people and they have this down pat. Do not trust this business or promogfting or YYZ Travel. They are all the same company.
