When I called the 71st street restaurant for help with online orders, I was left on hold for over 5 minutes, 3 different times. This was during one call!
I asked to speak to the manager so that I might leave feedback on my experience.
The manager I spoke with said his name was "Mark". His dry, unsatisfactory response was that it's 5 o'clock and his worker has 6 lines to answer, "so be patient!"
Deep down, I can empathize with the overwhelmed agent.
Unfortunately, it seems that no one there empathized with ME- the customer.
Mark was cold and discourteous and made me feel like I was bothering him.
I told him that I didn't want to be a bother and that I could go somewhere else. His response was, "Do what you want!"
I've patronized this establishment many times.
But now, I am going to follow his advice and take my business to a place where the management actually respects and values the customers and their experiences.
