Carmen D. says: Talked out of my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited with no issues during a routine oil change visit into a 2018 Jeep Compass purchased 2/23/18. I've had issues with it every since, they didn't even bother cleaning all of the quality control numbers, etc...off of the vehicle. I've taken in to be serviced several times, I've spoken with General Manager, Opened up a case with Chrysler and now I have initiated a claim with arbitration. I am prepared to file a complaint with the BBB, post on social media and call news stations if my issue is not resolved soon. It's been 3 months and I can't even take this brand new vehicle on the highway without getting anxiety...it has a very loud vibrating noise/feel no matter what speed I travel...if you accidentally veer off the side of the road and run on those ridges...that's what it sounds and feels like...scares the crap out of me every time and seems to be getting worse. Found out by Jeep Service department that Chrysler knows about the issue but there is no recall for a fix as of yet and they don't know when it will be fixed. I told them since it can't be fixed, I did not want the vehicle and to initiate a buy back and it doesn't seem they want to do this. I initially gave them the option of putting me in a Jeep Cherokee Limited which they traded me out of but they say it costs more and they would lose money so they tried to put me in a used car although I am currently in a new one. They also tried to put me in the same model saying maybe not all compasses have this issue...with the sheer amount of problems I've had with getting this issue resolved, why in the world would you even suggest putting me in another one.

Dealer says it's not fair that Chrysler sold them a defective vehicle and they feel like Chrysler should make up the difference in the car I am in and the one they need to transfer me into. I say that's between Jeep and Chrysler. My contract was with Jeep, get me right and fight with Chrysler on your own time.

I won't go into the incident with the salesman where I got cussed out and my arm grabbed on...why do we as customers have to escalate issues that clearly need to be resolved immediately. We spend too much money on these vehicles to not have what is promised to us. I buy brand new so I don't have to deal with this. I could have stayed in my 2015 Cherokee Limited, had it paid off in the next 2.5 years and been car payment free for the next 10...now, I don't think I will ever buy a Chrysler product again...
