Jeanine V. says: I am at the end of my 8 years working there and I would not recommend anyone to shop or donate to this company. If you are donating you either just want a tax write off and that's it. Or you have a heart and actually think you're helping people. Yours not. They trash a lot of good donations by the way they handle them. They throw and break perfectly good items just because they dont want to deal with them. They dont want to clean them. Or they just dont care. Your items are jacked up in price so high people might as well buy new. They talk crap about most of you and your donations as soon as you walk away. They steal a ton of your donations. A ton!
As for employees some care and some dont. No matter what this company treats their employees like crap when it really counts. They couldnt care less about anyone but dollar signs. You are only a figure that makes them money. They claim to care about helping people but they couldnt care less about helping their employees. Employees are treated differently depending on race and who the supervisor is.
The higher ups get paid very well just as the media reports. While they pay their workers the minimum they have to with many getting no types of benefits.
All in all this is a shady company all in it for money to pad their pockets. Take your donations to an organization that actually seems to care and help people . Such as Salvation Army, Samaritans Purse. Help a domestic womens shelter. Anywhere but here.
