Blanche M. says: I called today at the ER and ask some question the lady was not very nice on the phone I received 5 staples in my head I went to the clinic they could only take 4 out the last one was very painful to pull out and started to bleed . I called to find if they could numb my head where the staple is and take the staple out she said they will not numb it and go back to the clinic and just have them pull it . It’s been month now and the staple is still in my head and is sore to touch . So I have to get in touch with my nurse and see if she can request the hospital to help me I’m 69 years old why can’t I get help ?

Harmony S. says: I went to the ER 2 days after having a c section and a blood transfusion, because I swelled up everywhere.. from my face to my toes (kinda like the nutty professor). I also couldn't stop crying. My baby is in nicu, and I'm still in alot of pain and suffering from post partum and separation anxiety. The "doctor" who was there [Dr Nations] came in room with two nurses and asked what's going on. I told her I'm concerned about swelling and that I couldn't stop crying. She tells to get up on the bed. At this point I'm unable to lift my legs, I can barely walk. So she's standing on one side of me, a nurse on the other side, and a nurse typing on the computer. I'm sitting there obviously needing help and the "doctor" is just standing there telling me to put my legs up on the bed. Finally the nurse onthe computer came over and askedif I needed help, and he lifted my legs for me. The entire time I'm still crying and in obvious distress. The woman [doctor] says "well, seelling is normal at c section. What is it that you want meto do?" I said that I'm concerned about the swelling and that I can't stop crying. So she starts to leave the goin, and while leaving says "well I'll see what I can do but I'm not here to stop your crying. There's nothing I can do about crying. This is an ER, for emergencies."
I said excuse me? And she continued to leave the room. I was appalled and hurt. I told my husband that I'm not going to pay someone to talk to me like that. And to top it off,the room was dirty and looked like the floors hadn't been mopped in weeks. I said screw this. I'm going tothe Biloxi hospital. I asked the nurses if there was a different doctor oncall and they said no. So, I walked out before they could do anything to me. I'll be damned if I'm going topay some quack "doctor" to talk to me like that. She was so uncaring, no empathy at all. What type of hospital employees trash like this. Her name is DR. NATIONS. If you happen to get her, I recommend you ask for someone else. But the best thing would be to not ever go to memorial hospitals ER. It is awful, dirty, trashy. Disgusting!
