Melanie D. says: Completely unprofessional billing department. Received first statement from November surgery in Jan 2020 and made $150 payments each in Jan, Feb and March of 2020. I set up "official" payment arrangements with their billing department on Aprl 21, 2020. I mailed the check on April 22,2020 and on May 14, 2020 they sent my account to United Collection Bureau, with no record of my previous 2 payments of $200 each. Full balance payable immediately (over $2000). I called the billing office and was told no payment plan was ever set up in April 2020. Said they cannot pull it out of collections, will not let me speak with a supervisor, but "do not worry it will not hurt your credit." This company along with their owners CHI and Franciscan Health have a monopoly in the area which forces people to go to ONLY them for medical care. They know that because we have no other choice we will continue to go to them even though we are treated horribly at every turn. I am contacting the State Attorney General's Office as well as the Insurance Commissioners Office.

Mike B. says: Terrible patient relations from nurse Melissa Morris A, RN and Manager Michael Heiss. Melissa told me that she was sorry she ever gave me compassion, when I asked her to write a letter for me to show the cops when they harass me on the streets because I am homeless and Epileptic. She said this in front of an ER room full of people. Michael Heiss said that I stayed too long, and that I should have left that morning when I was discharged. I told him I didn't feel safe, and they both didn't care. Michael Heiss had the security guards come and tell me to leave ! I felt more like a criminal than a patient. When the cop finally got there, badge #146, said "let's go Mr. Bostic" and tried to get me to sign an admission to Disorderly conduct, when the nurse Melissa Morris, was the one yelling. HOw backwards!! The cop, #146, didn't seem to care about what I had to say, he just seemed in a hurry to arrest me though. The Emergency button in my room didn't work, and I felt a seizure coming on. The cop also put me in back of the cop car to drop me off at fred Meyers. Any cop should know that you DONT restrain a person having a seizure. !! I was strapped in, with shoulder harnesses and and locked in the cage in back, when he had to go back into the hospital to get nurse Melissa Morris' signature on my trepassing warning !! What a non-professional team !! I could have died back there, in the room and in the cop car cage. !!! They all need to be fired, and I'm working on it !! I'm also seriously considering a law suit for unprofessionalism on both their parts !! Harrison Hospital-Silverdale, and the Kitsap County Sheriff' department. I'm taking this HI up !!
