Complaint History & Business Rating for Homewood Suites - Pinehurst NC

Heather S. says: My mother forgot her 2 necklaces in this hotel. I filed a complaint- wrote up a police report. Got online with this site to make a formal complaint. Lesson learned - I WOULD NEVER recommend this hotel.

A complete breakdown of communication when dealing with stolen property
Labeled someone who just wants to, 'rant'.
Because I complained --this person whom I have never met - talked to - told me I showed myself in the hotel - not the case I stood at the front desk and asked what steps MY MOTHER needed to take to resolve stolen property.
To this I have had communication being told - "I am pushing it" because I said my mother’s worth of jewelry was in fact worth more than $2,000. To this I get a breakdown of what the other person owns. Wha?
Told basically my mother is an idiot for not pulling a car over - staying the night somewhere if she was tired, etc. Had this idiot AGAIN looked at the report---or read the blog---we live here --she came here from almost 3 hours away.
So maybe --just maybe you might want to have someone else call my mother to HELP her receive whatever compensation she deserves.

***Very visibly I would like to let everyone KNOW a Mr. Meeks was the only who reached out and spoke with us--he refunded our hotel bill for 6 nights for 3 different rooms. He was a very nice man, very helpful and took the time to talk with me. But NOPE not the Pinehurst people ****
****No one should ever stay in this hotel and expect any type of help if something goes wrong. This post should be enough for them to see-- NOT every hotel is run by the most professional people. ****
Did I want the maid fired? Heck yeah!
I don't care about the owner - whoever's jabs---I would like someone OTHER than this moron to call my elderly mother. You might get more accomplished.
