As I stated that this job is 80% communication and with that being said I have reached out to my supervisor pretain issues like my check being wrong, like the managers are rude. How many meetings do have to ask for so these people can be professional. Then when i get in a meeting I am the blame. When you reach out to Hr that takes for ever but when the tables are turn and its something they think i am wrong at, time is no issue.. They come running. If i complain that the office staff is putting no labels or wrong labels on patient blood in Oncology, then i get a call and say we dont want you here no more is retaliation at it best. Yet the supervisor did not address that with the office. yet i was given a written warning. O here is another one. I was assaulted by a patient yes the person put they hands on me. i call the police but yet I got written up.. This company is asking to be shut down by how they treat the workers. the good ones..

I have no complaint with headquarters, but my first experience with my local LabCorp was horrendous. The location on Cortez Blvd. in Brooksville, FL was one of the most disorganized businesses I have ever seen! People were told they would be called in just a couple minutes, which turned out to be 45 minutes. Many were older people who were standing. When I finally was called to go back, I was handed a cup, and without a word the lady nodded at the rest room door. When I came out with my sample, no one was around to direct me where to go. After standing at the intersection of two halls, someone finally came along who told me where to go. I was told to put my unlabeled sample in a bin on the counter and then to sit down for my blood work. I arrived a half hour early for my 11:15 appointment, but was not taken back until noon! By then I felt lightheaded and anxious, and burst into tears as soon as I got to my car. I would never recommend this lab to anyone. Unfortunately, my Medicare plan has chosen LabCorp for blood work. I am not looking forward to my next visit!

On April 5th, 2017 I went to the Lab Corp located at Medical City hospital for lab including a culture of body fluid. My daughter signed me in on the machine at the window as instructed. We sat there over an hour before the clerk came out to say she observed us in the waiting area for a while. We informed her we had been waiting to be called. she checked the machine and apparently, it did record my name. When I was called in and gave her my lab request she did not know what a culture on body fluid meant. I replied that body fluid for a culture was referred to urine. She called someone and was told the same thing. After completion of my information, she gave me a paper cup with a lid and directed me to the restroom. No instructions were given. There were no toilettes to clean before urinating in the cup( usually done for cultures). When the technician entered the room I gave her the cup, she asked if I had been given a toilette, I replied no. I am concerned that the results will not be correct. I will relay this information to my doctor and request another lab. The staff in this lab needs the training to perform procedures correctly. these texts are requested for medical purposes. Please investigate what is going on in this LabCorp lab.
