The staff is rude, uneducated no one and I mean no one calls you back. my son said he toilet overflowed and he was in shit water literally for a day. If the guards don’t like you or your mentally i’ll your put in medial hold naked! my son has been there twice due to being mentally i’ll and both times he was in the cell on medical hold naked for a day or more! They allow inmates to sexually harass other inmates and guards threaten to physically assault inmates. They don’t return emails calls or complaints and when you do call they are very rude, sound very uneducated and have nothing but bad attitudes they literally hang up in your face. i placed money on an account for my son yet they tell him he has none so it basically disappeared and no one calls you back to find out we’re it is! I don’t understand how this shit hole is still open. Then it’s locked down most of the days because the lack of staff! plus they still don’t allow visitors due to covid covid is not going anywhere inmates should have the right to see their families while being in there! and when you schedule video visits the inmates are never allowed to go cuz their constantly on lock down from lack of staff! enough already shut this shit show down for the love of god how many more people need to die mysteriously before they do!

This facility is full of corruption. The officers are rude and unprofessional. My husband is serving time on a misdemeanor charge. He went without any bed linens for the first 2 weeks, he is still walking around in another inmates used and worn out boots. They never issued him any boots or a change of clothes. I had to call and raise hell before anything was done. He has been discriminated against, his life threatened, ignored by officers, denied video visits and the list goes on. The kitchen is unsanitary. The gangs run this facility and they have officers on their payroll. The amount of drugs and other contraband that come in there is unbelievable and it's the staff bringing them in. They could care less about inmate reform. They have been given tablets to distribute evenly in the PODS so that inmates can have video calls with their loved ones but unless you are African American or a member of the gang you are denied access to these tablets. Your complaints go unheard and nothing changes. I would love to know what the qualifications are to be hired as an officer at this facility. The majority of the staff and the officers appear to be uneducated. They have no concept of the English language. Are you required to be physically fit to qualify as an officer? I dont think so. The health care received is a joke. The COVID is in full swing in that facility and they are not doing anything to help those that are infected. They throw them in their cell for 23 hours a day with no medication, no liquids to stay hydrated and no follow up by a medial professional. This place needs to be shut down!!

This place is horrible my son who is mentally disabled was placed in there 4 days ago and no one has heard from him since, they deny people basic human rights to a phone call to loved ones I don’t even know if my son is ok in there. I scheduled 2 phone visits online that he never showed up to and all I’m told is due to the Jails housing issues inmates aren’t getting to make calls or attend scheduled visuals, I am my sons legal guardian and have power of attorney and they still won’t tell me anything about my son! Shame on these ignorant guards that they are allowed to deny people their basic rights as humans! 4 days and not allowed 1 call is ashame! This place needs to be closed Down after several inmates died under their care and this place is still up and running

I brought to their attention the poor performance exhibited by Ms. Beach in her role working in
the Inmate Accounts Department. I am the Attorney In Fact for an inmate housed there. When he tried to send out money orders from his commissary account so that he could take care of some legal, educational, restitution, and child support responsibilities, she responded with a snide and condescending note stating that she was not his secretary.
Her refusal to provide receipts for transactions and to dispense inmate funds in accordance with the policy of RRJ and pursuant to the laws in the code of Virginia is proof of her poor work ethic and morals.
Her behavior towards inmates is unacceptable and should not go unnoticed. I am waiting to hear back from the jail regarding their reaction and response towards her behavior.
