Brenda H. says: There are issues that occured at this hospital years ago that I deeply regret not addressing at that time. and still bother me today. For years, its been extremely difficult to express the disgust I feel about the poor treament my mom first received at this hospital, then me years later.
They don't care how bad your medical status is. It's about THEIR status i.e their mood and how they feel. You can be a heart patient with guts almost falling out if your body, but after you're in there a few days some of those nurses will come in treating you like shit because of what's going on in their life and treat you according to what mood they're in--- smile Some of those bitches make you want to just snatch your I.V. out and run....Then your supposed to not say anything -- or watch what u say to them not appear to be too upset about being mistreated---or else they're calling that sorry- assed security who get paid to police patients regardless if how sick or vulnerable u are. You should not be allowed to mistreat people simply because you're medical staff, and should be held accountable like anybody else in other professions.

Diana T. says: having me told I have to leave at 9.30 at night is uncalled for . I had already had my sleeping meds. I was told to take a taxi. Everything got out of hand after that

Dorothy W. says: They are not responsible. They held me against my will. They wouldn't let me use the phone. They were not even bringing meals while I was held hostage.

Tonda K. says: We dropped my husband off to get a blood transfusion on 12/21/21. He would call when done. Did not hear so I called Sparrow said he wasn't there and I ask where he went,? Was told he's not in computer I start calling around to find him and can't. Our family was in agony looking for him.
Then on 12/ 23 I received call from hospice my husband is there and I need to sign consent because my husband is not coherent. I'm in shock and say I'm not until I figure out what the heck is going on? I demanded he be returned to hospital.
I informed hospice to tell my his Amonia numbers, because 5 Mos when my husband first got sick he didn't want medical treatment and we found out Amonia levels were in 60s.
Once husband was transferred back to Sparrow first test was Amonia and it was 99 very high. I get to demand my husband get treatment he got admitted and was being treated.
On 12/ 26 I call to check on him and told by nurse there was development in my husband condition I no longer can be told anything I asked who is making this call my husband? What is his Amonia levels are? All she said is good bye and hung up. I understand hippa bull crap, but I'm his wife left my job devoted my life 24/7 taking care of my husband. I went to everything. If was husband was with it and not having high Amonia levels I would have to accept his condition.
His Amonia levels are high and he's not thinking straight you would think them being medical professionals would know this.
