Kendell R. says: I would NOT recommend saint Bernard’s hospital to my worst enemy. The G.I. Doctors are so very unprofessional & have a poor bedside manner. They laughed at my wife when she told them why another hospital had transferred her to st Bernard’s because they didn’t have a gastroenterologist on call during the particular weekend that they had admitted her to their hospital. They were highly concerned about her stomach pain, constant vomiting & very low potassium. They said they were concerned that she might go into cardiac arrest from these extreme symptoms. Keep in mind that this hospital that was highly concerned with her well being is also a prestigious hospital also. They didn’t want to wait one day until their g.I. Doctors were on duty. They obviously weren’t out for the revenue of her room costs, mri ‘s, CT Scans, extensive blood work etc. so decide for yourself if you want yourself or a loved one treated with laughter at the still unknown problem that is causing my wife’s misery. The nurses have complained to my wife about their superiors. That kind of leadership leads to disgruntled nurses and some other doctors under the “superiors”. Which gets passed on to the patients at times. This particular website that has a A rating is only that high because there is no other complaints. Not one. Now I know that there is NO HOSPITAL that is that good. After being here for 3 days my beloved wife is in the same shape as when she came in to st Bernard’s. Still vomiting constantly, can’t hold food down, even a liquid diet. They only give her nausea medicine every 6 hours. It only helps for about an hour to an hour and a half. Sorry excuse for a Christian hospital. IN MY OPINION! She wants transferred back to our usual hospital that we love their care from Top doctors in their respective fields to the nursing staff and other specialist. Now that it’s Monday and she should have her choice of hospitals and has been released from G.I. Doctors the nurses say that a doctor has to approve her release and transport back to NEA Hospital. Well the doctors are not coming to see her & address her transfer. NEA IS FAR SUPERIOR HEALTHCARE HOSPITAL.
