Brandi P. says: I emailed my complaint to UCI weeks ago. Still haven't heard back. Ive had an ongoing issue with a few doctor's dating back to Febuary 2017. The doctor's do not listen, read medical/surgery history, follow up on approvals or refer out to appropriate specialist in a timely matter. Instead of doing what was requested from my insurance company to get the approval authorized. I was told to go to the ER so I didn't have to wait for the authorization. The staff is so rude, lazy & unorganized. All they care about is money. Definitely not the well being of the patient. I've never been treated so poorly.

I highly recommend getting a copy of your medical records. I was shocked to read what they wrote about me in the clinician notes. Completely false accusations. Making judgements about a patient is unprofessional. The documentation was inaccurate. The MA is the one that talks to the patient. The doctor spends a few minutes in the room. I would expect the MA to document everything so we don't have to repeat everything.

Last Friday I went to a new PCP. In one appointment he ordered all the appropriate tests, sent me to several specialist and ordered imaging. I received a call on Monday. My authorization were approved. This clearly proves that my doctor from UCI did not do her job. She completely neglected my medical needs & delayed my recovery from Surgery. If she would of listened to me, she would of sent me to the appropriate specialist back in March. It's been six months since my surgery. Zero improvement & still on bed rest.

says: I called with questions about a surgery that is 2 days away. I needed to talk to the surgeon Dr Bernal. At tje end of tje day just before the leave the office some woman called and left a message to call her. I was asleep and could not get to the phone in time so I called back within 30 seconds. They never answered. They did this on two occasiond this week. They make it look like they tried but leaving the phone unattended and waiting till the last minute before they go home hardly serms like they try to help you. I was in for a shock when I google uci med ctr complaints and found out their legal and certifications problems stem from a culture of fraud!
