Campbell D. says: Sent me out with thread bare tired knowingly and I had a blow out with five people in the car going 70 mph (the speed limit). Could have killed us all. Their response. Go get new tires - at your expense. I did, and then it was hell getting repaid. I wanted a full refund for the rental. Got partial refund. On top of that they lost track of the car I returned and came after me as if I took off with their car. It took over a year to get a response from their customer service department because what they had set up made it impossible for customers to be heard and handled in a decent way. If you're on the road with a Hertz car, you are really out there on your own!

Aleksandra T. says: Disrespectful and unhelpful, dismissive treatment at the rental outlet and completely nonresponsive to a complaint over the course of several weeks and complaint involved situation that resulted in over a $1000 loss for the client (myself) due to Hertz negligence and unprofessionalism, AND in having to cancel a vacation which was time-constraint and fully dependent on the rental vehicle they did not provide.
No worse feeling than feeling disrespected and ripped off at the same time.
